The Center will contribute to the mission of the Foundation by being the research, education and innovation hub. The Center will foster break-through research, specialized education, and profound innovation.

The medical conditions collectively known as “core injuries” were born out of Dr. William C. Meyers’ discovery in the early 1980s that medicine had a misunderstanding of the basic anatomy and physiology of the pubic symphysis, the muscles that attach to it, and the hip. From that time, he has pioneered diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and prevention protocols for core injuries. Vincera has partnered with the world’s leading experts on hip preservation, core anatomy, radiology, rehabilitation, athletic training, sports medicine, plus other experts. This team has conducted much research and generated peer reviewed research publications on this topic. Even after all of these advances, there still remain basic questions about the anatomy of the core. The Center will be the epicenter of the search for the answers.
